Corporate Social Responsibility

WebSearch strives to do business in a way that creates a lasting positive effect in the society. It is our aim and conviction that our actions should result in profitability as well as sustainability, and one cannot be achieved without the other.

One of the major problems of Nepal is the uncontrollable trend of brain drain. Almost all of the better educated and competent people are leaving the country for the dream of better opportunities abroad. This hysterical pattern of finding ‘the grass greener on the other side’ also hampers the growth of companies such as WebSearch. As long as the most able people trying their best to leave, this country will never develop, and companies such as WebSearch can never prosper.

Therefore, WebSearch has decided to invest in those young people who are talented but could not afford a higher education. WebSearch has been providing scholarship programme for 2 to 4 students every year at Kathmandu University for B.E. in computer engineering.
