One of the most underestimated possibilities of Iphone & Smartphones are webapplications.

A webapplication can look and feel almost the same as a native Iphone/Smartphone application. But it is accessed in a browser instead of downloaded from Appstore.

This has both advantages and disadvantages. An application that a user is using frequently is often more efficient to have ass an application installed in your phone while an application that you use only once or twice per month is often more efficient as a webapplication.

Webapplications has the advantage that they are faster to develop and easy to adjust to all smartphones while Native apps have better performance and more functions.
