WebSearch is a swedish company with the development department in Kathmandu.

We have 35 staffs and is wokring with webb and system development based on Dot.Net, PHP, Objective C and HTML/CSS since 2005.

 

We are looking for a person who wants to be a part of building up a professional outsourcing company in Nepal that combines web and system development with social responsibility.

The job is about working as the link between two cultures, leading complex projects and implementing a european quality level in a Nepali company.

 

WebSearch are working actively for a sustainable development. We want our daily work to make a difference. We sponsor young talented people in Nepal who can not afford higher education to study IT. We have developed a game to fight the climate changes, multimedia education to make language learning in the classroom fun and several websites for organisations and companies working with Cleantech, Environment, and CSR.

 

Living and working in Nepal

We are looking for a person who is already living in or wants to move to Nepal for a period of at least 12 months. You must be good at working cross-cultures leading a team of nepalese developers working for european customers.

If you are not already settled in Nepal WebSearch will arrange an apartment for you.

 

Experience required

- At least 5 years experience working within webb or system development

- Experience in project leading  

- Working in cultures different than your own

- Either design or programming skills is a plus but not a must.

- Experience in communicating with customers and develop system specifications.
