Considering the high illiteracy rate of our country, where child labor is common and can be seen in our everyday life; WSP employees fund shall help the cause of educating underprivileged children. We expect that our small contribution shall bring meaningful change and ray of knowledge in the lives of little tots by going to school, enabling them to nurture their childhood learning and shape their future.

This fund shall sponsor 100% annual tuition fee; monthly tuition fee; stationery; lunch (optional); uniform (optional); for deserving students. The fund shall sponsor 10 years of education in a private school for children aged 5- 14 years. Once the child is enrolled under this fund he/she is entitled to free education until grade 10. 

SCHOOL: A private school with a monthly fee of 500-800 shall be chosen. It can be more than 1 school depending upon the children’s aptitude and necessity.

AMOUNT COLLECTED PER MONTH: WebSearch employees children’s education fund is 1% of the monthly salary of WSP employees + equal of total amount from the company to sustain this programme. All the employees have to commit to the contribution until they leave the company. 

NUMBER OF CHILDREN: We started with 7 children in 2009 and increase every year depending upon the availability of fund.

Who deserves the sponsorship? 

The scholarship is is meant for underprivileged children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school for educating them. The children should meet at least one of the following criteria:

1. The parents annual income in cash is less than 60,000 Nrs

2. The parents holds a fixed property of less than 200,000 Nrs

3. Single parents/broken homes children

4. Underprivileged ethnic group

5. Children with outstanding capacity
