WebSearch IT scholarship
B.E. in Computer Engineering in Kathmandu University
The scholarship is for talented and driven young students who want to make a career in IT and Web Technology but couldn't otherwise afford it.
WebSearch strives to do their business in a way that creates a lasting positive effect in the society. Owing to its strong CSR values, it is launching a scholarship in B.E. in Computer Engineering in collaboration with Kathmandu University from the 2007 semester.
The WebSearch Scholarship shall finance 60% of the tuition fee for 2 candidates, while the 40% will be covered by the projects the scholars deliver to WebSearch. Websearch shall give projects designed to enhance the practical skill of the student on regular intervals. Hence, the student is entitled to 100% scholarship in total. The student shall also get a mentor from the company who shall guide and support him/her throughout the semesters. Furthermore, the scholars will be employed by WebSearch right after the completion of the course.
This scholarship is targeted for those young talents who cannot join a university because of their financial disadvantage, providing a platform to realize dreams and ambition through this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is intended to create an opportunity for students who have talent and motivation to achieve in life, but are limited by a low family income. Students should have passed their grade 12 or equivalent and be a citizen of Nepal.
The scholarship program includes:
- Two seats for B.E. in Computer Engineering in Kathmandu University.
- 60 % coverage of tuition fee for all 4 years of education.
- 40 % coverage of tution fee by delivering projects for WebSearch designed to teach the students practical skills. Thus in total 100% scholarship is given.
- Working with practical projects for WebSearch Professional
- Mandatory 4 years of employment in WebSearch Pvt. Ltd. after completion of the studies.
